We only use premium hides, which are a by-product of the food industry and sourced right here in Australia. It's the only way ethical production standards can be maintained.

Crackle Leather

A soft top grain cowhide designed to show the natural imperfections of leather. It’s thick, durable and tanned to perfection. It's deep colour hides signs of use and will repel water for up to 2 hours. Making this a leather perfect for cold and wet climates.

 

Vintage

 A durable lightweight leather that gets softer with age. Made from Mountain Goat hides this durable leather has unique properties making it perfect when uniqueness is key. Stand out

 

Giorgio Tan

Our chromium free Giorgio tan exudes functionality, class and quality. This weather resistant leather makes it perfect for all seasons while the colour guarantees its use all year long.

 

Mayo

A hand-grained cowhide that accentuates the natural grain of leather. It has a consistent grain with dark and light ridges to emphasize the characteristics of natural cowhide leather

 

Hunter

A light oil-pullup with matte finish is exudes everything outback. This age-old tanning technique is designed to show signs of wear. Scuffs and marks can be rubbed away making the finish perfect for everyday use.

 

Here at Leather Craft Australia, we pride ourselves on the ethical sourcing of leather hides by only purchasing leather that is a by-product of the meat industry.

We have a strict policy on kill-to-eat and are fully against kill-to-wear parctices of the leather industry. We do not accept leather from tanneries where the animal has been killed only for its hide alone.

Our leather factories surpasses all local and international standards regarding ethical sourcing and fair trade practices.
